Re: final POTUS poll
My final prediction:

A 269-269 tie. This way if either candidate gets 270+ I'll only be "half" wrong.
This is one of the few elections, I'm really not sure who will win. It should be interesting tonight.

Middle path?My final prediction:
Re: final POTUS poll
I can't work with it. The moment I want to fill in with color, it covers everything.
Maybe you want to update it while I get messy with the Sharpies.
The advantage is that I have it colored on the reverse as well if I could only win on the back

Come on, do it! Without an accurate map, no one around the globe sleeps. Think about it!

This person on abc7 only touches the screen and the screen zooms in, out, changes color, flies up, down, etc.
Re: final POTUS poll
i'm having a look now on the internet.
i don't understand how it works but it seems like the "white" upper class states vote Democrats
Trump hammered in Washington area
very polarised USA. most states are either a landslide for Trump or, otherwise, landslide for Biden
appears to demonstrate economic inequity and the folks with money vote for the Democrats
it seems the globalists masquerade as the virtue signalling "left"
oh... i think i worked out how it works

The Electoral College consists of 538 electors. A majority of 270 electoral votes is required to elect the President. Your State has the same number of electors as it does Members in its Congressional delegation: one for each Member in the House of Representatives plus two Senators

Re: final POTUS poll
I learned a bit in the past half hour in terms of history.
I had spots where my mind never went to spread the light. Now I know and cannot undo the shift.
To be fair, I say that we wait for the final count ... the rust belt and the rest.
And to be honest, I feel that if I were to leave my state, Democrat, I won't find a job or adapt to the region.
So here it is .. I said it!
I'm out of the topic. I have nothing more to express. Have a good day!
Miorita
P.S. I can't give D. Trump a plan to fight the pandemic. It's a ridiculous expectation. There are thousands of doctors and the CDC who are QUALIFIED to fight the disease as the best specialists in the world. D. Trump needs to learn just as I am learning in a new field. He can do it.

Re: final POTUS poll
7 states have not been called yet. Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Alaska, Nevada.
Trump is leading in Alaska, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania.
Biden is leading in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada.
If those leads hold out and they win those states, the final electoral vote will be Biden winning 270-268 in one of the closest elections ever.
Nevada might decide the election!

OMG! Wait a second!
https://www.foxnews.com/elections/2020/general-results
I just noticed one of the districts in Maine is not counted yet and I think it's a rural district, which could go to Trump (Maine is one of two states that is not winner take all).
And that means it will be a 269-269 tie, which I predicted as a real possibility!
And then the House of Representatives decides with one state, one vote, not one Representative - one vote, but rather by state delegation which means Trump wins 26-24.

Hi David,
Actually, that district in Maine is not needed by the Democrats to get to 270 with WI, MI, & NV. The 270 estimate includes that district going to the Republicans.

Re: final POTUS poll
only two states needed for Biden to win, Nevada and Michigan, and all the votes left are mail in ballots, everyone knows that mail in ballots are majority democrats, so Trump doesn't have much he can do but pack his bags and move to Florida. So Biden gets 270 or 290 if he stages a big comeback in Pennsylvania

Re: final POTUS poll
I think you're right, I just put the colors in and it would still be 270 for Biden.

Re: final POTUS poll
It is actually quite simple. And was predictable. Liberals have pushed too far too fast. There is bound to be a resistance. We see this in nation after nation.Charbel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 11:46 am i'm having a look now on the internet.

Boris Johnson might have lost according to pollsters .. he got a decisive win (at least more decisive than May)
I live in India .. in 2019, BJP, the Hindu nationalist right wing party was supposed to lose .. or at least not be able to form government without several partners .. it got a thumping majority .. the largest single party majority in over 30 years.
Liberals exists in echo chambers. One liberal back scratches another on social media (and media) and together they think they form backbone of national opinion. They don't. Ordinary voters are worried about economy and national security. Not the issues that liberals think are important.
Biden might very well win. But as Van Jones, the Dem/Lib talking head said on CNN .. we might get a political victory but not a moral victory. Claire McCaskill said almost the same (I think on NBC .. not sure).
Even if Trump loses he would have won a solid 46% of popular vote.
It is going to be nightmare Presidency for Biden and he probably is not young enough, dynamic enough to fight a virulent Trump and his tweets (probably Trump tv too) and militia and China and Russia and Progressive agenda and hundreds of judges handpicked by Trump.

CDC is confused; with Robert Redfield making contradictory statements; such as saying to not use masks but later saying "masks are the best thing". CDC is not the "best", which is why the USA is the "worst" at Covid. The best, such as here, are aligned with Trump's & Scott Atlas's plan. A Biden win might be a disaster.Miorita wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 2:27 pm

The problem with the US election is Covid. Last weekend, in Queensland Australia, the Covid brainwashed voted for a lockdown government and voted against two populist parties that had the most realistic views on Covid. The well-to-do narcissistic Liberals who don't have to worry about money want Covid lockdowns. The Climate Change Alarmists are generally also Covid Alarmists. This is their propaganda. They claim to care about human lives while, in reality, destroying human lives. Covid has taken the momentum away from The Right.

Labor won the election in Queensland because they were totally effective in keeping Covid out of the state, almost no cases, Labor Government in West Australia did much the same thing with equal success.
Trump's approach has been a disaster, one of the worst jobs of fighting Covid in the world, now he''ll be spreading his nonsense on twitter but not from the White House, I predict people are going to quit paying any attention to him, he's a has been now. A loser, a failed state.

Trump is filing a law suit in Pennsylvania, and his team unilaterally claimed Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia and Michigan.

I passed Micro 256 with A and at a mere 0.001 margin. My professor, Dr. XXYZ has worked for the CDC until he decided to retire to do teaching. He closed sites around the city when he judged that the health of people was in danger. So please, pretty-pretty please, don’t s**t on my course! I paid worked money for it so I have an education just like DJT has an education from his teachers.Charbel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 7:13 pmCDC is confused; with Robert Redfield making contradictory statements; such as saying to not use masks but later saying "masks are the best thing". Coronavirus has infected 1.7 million New Yorkers, study estimates
COVID-19 was circulating through the five boroughs 'long before' the first recorded case, researchers said
An estimated 1.7 million New Yorkers have had COVID-19 — six times the official count, a study released Tuesday suggests.
Researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai also found the coronavirus was circulating through the five boroughs “long before” the first recorded case, the study published in Nature states.
Researchers found plasma containing COVID-19 antibodies were detected “as early as mid-February” — several weeks before the first official cases were reported in the city — and “leveled out at slightly above 20% in both groups after the epidemic wave subsided by the end of May,” the study shows.
Using those numbers, scientists extrapolated that 20% of New Yorkers likely had the virus already.
Further, the scientists found antibody levels “stayed stable” from May to July, which suggests immunity could last for at least a few months but does not rise to the level of herd immunity.

Re: final POTUS poll
Trump hasn't lost yet, although it's not looking good for him. If he holds his current leads in Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Alaska and then wins Nevada, then he wins. He needs to win all of those states though, including Nevada where he is currently 8,000 votes less than Biden.
Alaska still hasn't been called for Trump for some reason. Trump is leading with over 62% of the vote and it's a historically Red state, yet the media still hasn't called it for Trump yet.
