The left serves the establishment

Post by Charbel »

I have come to the absolute ;) conviction the political left serves the right wing establishment.

The left, on their grounds of humanitarian intervention, has supported neo-con imperialist wars that have destroyed lives & entire nations (such as Libya).

Now with the Corona-Virus, the left serves the push of the American Big Pharma, promoting a narrative from the US-UK old establishment and ignoring how other nations have dealt with Corona-Virus.

Ex-Guardian writer & hero journalist John Pilger today denounces the Guardian as an establishment media.

Australian govt ABC media promotes the LBGTQ & Climate Change narrative for its cult left followers but also pushes war agendas in the Middle-East and now hawkish media against China and the infallible Covid mouthpiece named Norman Swan. The lefties swallow this hook, line & stinker.

The leftists with their climate-change god appear to rejoice in Corona-Virus as some sort of punishment for human sins in their quest for communist-like power.

Note: Obviously the Buddha renounced clinging to the Establishment.

Please discuss my absolute convictions. Thanks :spy:

The leftists i know own: (i) fancy houses; (ii) large shares portfolios; (iii) gold; (iv) etc. In their narcissism, they speak all of the Covid-19 jargon. But they rarely think like the following video:

I looked at the other videos made by that channel; all very similar, all saying huge doom and gloom is imminent. Very pessimistic! The authors of the channel have been predicting doom and gloom for over 3 years, apparently.

Irrelevant. What is relevant is how the Covid-Mania affects the lower classes.

In the instance referred to by the video, it appears to ignore the dynamic balance of supply and demand, which is essential for any economic analysis. People will be far more likely to evict a tenant, if there is market demand for their property. If you know there's not much chance of getting another tenant in, and the tenant otherwise has a good payment record, what would you choose to do? There are houses. If they are not rented out, they are vacant, and generate no income.

It's true there will be a backlog of evictions, due to evictions becoming unlawful in some locations and situations during COVID-19, but that doesn't necessarily change the overall number of evictions... it just makes it artificially "lumpy".

How are leftists capitalists? By definition, they are not capitalist, at least not the far-left.

The left embraces big corporations, big banks, consumerism, big government spending, the military industrial complex and most importantly embraces family billionaires and the mega rich elite like Hollywood.
The far left may pretend to redistribute wealth, but they are still state capitalists,in bed with bankers and the military. No non capitalist government exists. A monopoly on taxes makes each state a concentrator of wealth, ergo capitalist.

There were plenty of non-capitalist countries in the past, none of them worked out. Just mass poverty and executions; USSR, former (Derg) Ethiopia, former (Castro) Cuba, former (Mao's) China, North Korea, etc.

That's right, they all moved toward capitalism when their communism failed. There are even the start of private property rights in Cuba and businesses.

There has never been a non capitalist state. A state has a monopoly on violence, taxation and therefore wealth/ capital.
Every single called leftist or communist state was just a giant corporation with the masses its employees. Thus fleecing the wealth created by workers to create more capital to solidify their elite state.

That's what communism calls for. It may sound like a "monopoly" to you; but that's the point of communism, to take control and not allow freedom of choice, freedom of economic opportunities. And that's why it failed.

What is "Covid Mania"? You mean governments imposing public health measures to mitigate the worst effects of the pandemic? Or do you think we should just let all the old people die, particularly the ones in the lower classes? :rolleye:
